2008 Blues Cup Hotel Information
The Blues Cup Tournament Committee, would like to make your participation in our Blues Cup 2008, the most pleasant and enjoyable experience of the summer. We also would like to welcome you to San Juan Capistrano and the nearby cities. San Juan Capistrano , and the surrounding area have among the best climates in the world. As one of America 's favorite summer vacation spots, Orange County hotels are in high demand during our Labor Day tournament weekend.
A LIST OF THINGS TO DO IN ORANGE COUNTY
In order to ensure adequate lodging for teams traveling to our tournament we have worked with individual local hotels to reserve blocks of rooms at reasonable rates for our participating teams. ALL BLUES CUP TRAVELING TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO STAY AT TOURNMENT HOTELS.
The BLUES CUP has established the following hotel procedures:
- ONCE YOUR TEAM IS ACCEPTED into the Blues Cup our Travel Coordinators will contact your team administrators via email and request your team's hotel preference from the list below.
- Our Travel Coordinators will reserve your rooms at the hotel of your choice pending availability, at which time your team may call the hotel and provide credit card information. Be advised we can only guarantee availability of your rooms up to the dates listed for each particular hotel. Following those dates the hotels will open the rooms up for general availability at a much higher rate.
- When our Travel Coordinators contact you please provide them with the following information.
- Team Name
- Age Group
- Administrative Contact person and e-mail address
- Name of hotel where you would like to stay
- Number of rooms you will need
If your team will not require housing, please submit an e-mail with this information. Hotel information must be provided and is considered part of your tournament application.
